1. Account Deletion Request

At Yugmio, we value your privacy and give you full control over your data. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can do so directly through our mobile application or by contacting support.

2. How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps to permanently delete your account directly within the Yugmio app:

  1. Open the Yugmio app on your device.
  2. Go to your Profile tab.
  3. Tap on Settings (Gear icon).
  4. Scroll down to find the Delete Account option.
  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm your decision.

Alternatively, if you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion via email:

Please use the subject line "Delete Account Request" and include the email address or phone number associated with your account.

3. Data Handling

When you delete your account, the following actions are taken regarding your data:

3.1 Data We Delete

  • Personal Profile: Photos, bio, interests, age, gender, and preferences.
  • Authentication Data: Login credentials and verified phone numbers.
  • App Activity: Chat history, matches, likes, and interaction logs.
  • Location Data: Any stored location history.

3.2 Data We May Retain

  • Transaction Records: We may retain anonymized records of purchases and transactions for tax and accounting purposes as required by law.
  • Security Logs: Basic technical logs may be retained for a limited period to maintain system security but are not linked to your personal identity after deletion.

4. Retention Period

Once you confirm account deletion:

  • Your account will be immediately deactivated and removed from public view.
  • All personal data will be effectively deleted from our active databases within 30 days.
  • Backups may contain residual copies of your information for up to 90 days, after which they are securely overwritten.
